The 1932 pre-code horror Murders in the Rue Morgue gets a walkthrough this week. There’s not a lot in common with the Poe story, and even though it’s pre-code, 19 minutes were cut for violence so we’ll never know what could have been. I am a fan of gorilla suits so at least that was kept.
